We're all aware that Disney loves sequels. Most of us will also aknowlage that a good majority of these sequels have been pretty lousy in terms of quality.
What are your thoughts- Is there a chance of a sequel? What would you like to see in another film? Do you think that it could or would be well done?

I think there is a chance of a sequal, but probally a really lousy one like those Lilo & Stitch ones. I mean the ideas of the squel is good, but the shadding and art looks waaaaaaaayyyyy worse then the orginal XP I want a GOOD Treasure Planet Squel!

Ug! A Disney sequel for this wonderful movie would most likely end up really cruddy. Most Disney sequels end up that way. I'm still deciding if I should watch the Brother Bear one or not. Maybe they could pull it off if they kept to the same nice animation and the voice actors, but usually they can't. I personally hope there will be none because I'm 90 percent sure it would stink like most of their others.

Most Disney sequels fall so far short of the originals, it's pathetic. I think if they do make a sequel, it should be of equal or greater quality than the original in plot, acting, design, and animation--nothing less. I have seen a couple of fairly decent sequels from Disney. Unfortunately, the bad ones outweigh the good.

I have seen a couple of fairly decent sequels from Disney. Unfortunately, the bad ones outweigh the good. The only really GOOD sequels that I can think of are Aladdin 2 and 3. Little Mermaid 2 was decent, as was Lion King 1 1/2. Maybe BatB Enchanted Christmas as well. But none of them even came close to the original. This is one of those things that I really really hate about disney- they don't even try to put any quality into a sequel, just send it straight to DVD in hopes of raking in a little more profit. Anyway, considering the huge financial mess caused by Treasure Planet, I doubt they'll try to pull a sequel. And I can't help but be a little glad.

I think the animation is lacking in the Aladdin sequels. The sequels I can think of that I liked right off the bat were The Lion King II: Simba's Pride and Bambi II (the animation and the story is beautiful for that one). Lion King 1 1/2 was okay, but I think Timon and Pumbaa have enough publicity being that they have their own tv show and stuff.

I think Jungle Book 2 was okay (animation wise)...but why did they make a squel? Most of the actors were dead (or too old) and they probally had to do the entire cast from scratch! -_-' They couldn't retop the music in the last one netheir.....I mean...It was Walt's last masterpiece! They shouldn't of made a squel to that -_-
